Experience Idol is more than just a contest—it's a celebration of creativity, innovation, and the incredible work achieved by our Ellucian community. This annual event offers a unique opportunity to showcase how your institution is leveraging the Ellucian Platform to drive real impact on student, staff, and faculty success.

Top (6) Finalists will receive:
- Blueprint scans and analysis
- Ellucian-filled swag bag
- 1 free registration per institution for Ellucian Live 2026
- Participation in a session at Ellucian Live 2026
- An invitation to a roadmap focus group at Ellucian Live 2026
Top (3) Winners will receive:
- $5,000 Student Experience Scholarship for the institution
- Recognition and trophy at Ellucian Live 2026
- 4 hours UX/Card design work with the User Experience Design Team
- Complimentary professional services work to improve your Experience environment
- Photo with Ellucian Live 2026 celebrity speaker
Key Dates
1. Submit this Experience Idol Participation Form indicating your intent to participate in Experience Idol by November 21, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. ET.
2. Participate in complimentary office hours taking place in November, January, and February. SMEs from the Ellucian UX and R&D Teams will be available to help your institution craft an impactful story in Experience!
3. Receive complimentary UX design support in February to polish your submission (if necessary).
4. Submit a screengrab that best showcases your submission and the five-minute “show and tell” video by February 27, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. ET.
5. The finalists in each category—Best Overall Dashboard and Best Use Case —will be announced via email on Monday, March 23, 2026.
6. During an education session at Ellucian Live: April 19 - 22, 2026, each finalist will participate in a rapid-round presentation to show off why their presentation should win the category to which they are a finalist.
7. Winners will be announced during Ellucian Live.
How To Participate
All participants will receive evaluation licenses for Experience Premium and Intelligent Processes Automation.
To have your submission officially considered, you must submit the following by February 27, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. ET:
- A screengrab of your submission
- A "show and tell" video no more than five minutes describing how you built your submission, what it does, who it’s targeted for and the impact it has on students, faculty, or staff.
(Form to share final submission will be provided at a later date.)
All participants will:
- Be invited to complimentary office hours in November, January, and February with Ellucian Product Management, UX, and R&D SMEs to get feedback and help your institution craft engaging and impactful entry.
- Receive recognition at Ellucian Live 2026.
