After an incredible response from partners last year, we're excited to kick off Experience Idol – and this time, we’re inviting even more bold ideas and inspiring stories. If you’re a partner with a standout experience to share, now’s your moment – submit today!
This is a fantastic opportunity for partners to showcase how their products and solutions are driving real impact across student, staff, and faculty experiences by leveraging the power of the Ellucian Platform. Whether it's through intelligent workflows, custom APIs, or persona-driven dashboards, Experience Idol is your stage to demonstrate innovation, creativity, and measurable value.

The winner of each category, Best Student Impact, Best in Extensibility, and Student Wellness Challenge will each receive:
- Trophy presentation at Ellucian Live 2026
- Participation in Ellucian Live 2026 Session where you will be given the opportunity to present your winning submission
- Complimentary Sponsorship of Brand Engagement Opportunity at Ellucian Live 2026
- Press release spotlighting the Experience Idol winners, amplifying visibility across the Ellucian community
Key Dates
- November 21, 2025 – Submit the Experience Idol Participation Form to confirm your intent to participate.
- November 2025 – February 2026 – Attend complimentary office hours with Ellucian UX, Product Management and R&D SMEs.
- February 27, 2026 – Submit your final entry:
- A screengrab of your Experience dashboard
- A five-minute “show and tell” video
- April 19-22, 2026 – Winners announced at Ellucian Live
(Form to share final submission will be provided at a later date.)
All participants will:
- Be invited to complimentary office hours in November, January, and February with Ellucian Product Management, UX, and R&D SMEs to get feedback and help your institution craft engaging and impactful entry.
- Receive recognition at Ellucian Live 2026.
How To Participate
To have your submission officially considered, you must submit the following by February 27, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. ET:
1. A screengrab of your submission
2. A "show and tell" video, no more than five minutes in length, showing platform capabilities in Experience such as:
- Workflows
- Intelligent Processes Actions
- Custom APIs
- Use of Artificial Intelligence
- Data Connect pipelines
- Card Templates
- Experience SDK
- Insights (Requires current entitlement)
- Anything else that shows your team flexing its muscles inside Experience
Additional guidelines:
- Partners may enter one, two or all three categories
- A maximum of two submissions per category is allowed per partner.
- Submissions must be fully functioning (proofs of concept or mock-ups will not be accepted.
- Partners may re-enter cards originally submitted in 2025, provided they meet the current contest requirements.
- Judges' decisions are final and not subject to appeal.
